Mom had her last set of finals two weeks ago so I planned another Daddy Daughter Day for the girls on December 6. We did some shopping and ran errands first. Later we went to Applebees for lunch. The girls enjoyed having the time with me. I think they liked it best when I spilled my iced tea and the servers had to clean it up. Probably because the servers teased me, saying, “don’t worry, it happens to all of us!”
Later that afternoon we toured parts of Gaylord Opryland. The girls and I saw the outdoor nativity scene, the Hall of Trees and then the girls rode the train. We also ran into a larger than life gingerbread man.
It was a great afternoon for us and a productive day for Mom.
